An early 1900's Tresseman & Vogt, T&V Limoges France eggnog bowl.
A festive eggnog bowl that features pink roses on the outside of the bowl and smaller groupings of the same rose on the inside of the bowl. So versatile as it can be used for summer punches also!
The bowl is footed and edged with gold and gold also is along the slightly scalloped rim. It has green coloring around the upper area on the outside of the bowl and decorated with gold. The front of the bowl has the largest roses and the back has smaller roses.
Alas... no holly to be found.
Measures about 9-1/4" in diameter and stands about 4-1/4" tall. It is marked on the bottom as shown in one of my photos. The condition is nice with just very minimal wear to the gold. I see one tiny speck along the rim that is also rough to the touch so it appears to be a very small nick but not even large enough for the average person to see.
A magnificent gift but also wonderful to keep!
Wouldn't it look fantastic this winter filled with holiday cheer at your table?
